Hello and welcome to Language Learning Mom.  My name is Gwen and I have 3 young children, hence the mom.  I’m not sure that they will factor into this blog at all, but it’s a part of who I am.  They certainly factor into my time.

My purpose in this blog is just to share some words that I’m exploring as I learn more.  I have found that I like to learn other languages and within the last few months have begun reviewing the Spanish and Greek that I once knew.  I also decided to try biblical Hebrew.  Spanish could be useful if I can become fluent enough.  Hebrew and Greek would make studying the Bible more interesting.  I’m hoping to be able to sit down some day with my Greek bible and to some extent be able to translate it myself.  Maybe someday, I’ll try the Hebrew too, but I’m pretty new at this language, so that will certainly take some time.

So, up front, I’m no expert in this.  Hopefully, these blogs will become better as I gain more practice and write more.  So, for now, this is me.  And this is a work in progress.
