Language Learning Mom – A mom sharing her language learning experiences

Welcome to my new blog

Hello! Welcome to my blog. This is my first blog and as such will be a new experience for me.  I intend to share with you what insight I gather as I learn new languages.  I will be mainly focused on Ancient Greek and Hebrew.  These interest me, of course, because of the Bible.  It would be exciting to actually be able to read some text in the original languages.

I studied some ancient Greek in college, but no Hebrew.  I’ve been studying vocabulary for both on an app that I downloaded onto my phone.  I also have been working on Spanish and Latin.  I started with Spanish since I studied it in school and thought a refresher would be mentally stimulating.  Then I decided to add Greek to the mix.  Then Hebrew and Latin.  Learning the Hebrew letters has been quite the struggle, but I’m getting there.

This site is for the normal person who may be interested in learning a little bit at a time.  As I have no language degree, this is not intended as a super scholarly blog.  This is a blog of exploration, to learn a little, to share the journey.
